About the Book:
Garrett Addison’s first experience as the newest member of the Tennessee Bureau of Investigations is the heartrending case of the Angel Abductor. Known to select young, blond-haired teenage girls, the killer has struck again leaving very little evidence and lots of questions. The one common thread linking all of the victims is a Polaroid picture left behind. In an effort to ramp up efforts at finding this nemesis to society and calm public fears, the TBI partners with the FBI bringing in two special agents, one being Jordan Lambert, Garrett’s former girlfriend. When Garrett strays from the course of the investigation following a hunch and a sixth girl dies, he blames himself. In the wake of his turmoil, he chooses to walk away from the investigation, the TBI, and the returning feelings he had for Jordan. Fast forward ten years and after years of silence, the Angel Abductor seems to have resurfaced. With the prime suspect murdered, abductions being staged, and no new evidence surfacing Garrett’s old boss wants to get the team back together to finally solve the mystery of the killer’s identity and stop the crimes before yet another girl dies. Garrett has to face his past demons- and his ever-present feelings for Jordan- in order to stop the killer once and for all, lay his guilt to rest, and hopefully seize the opportunity for a future with Jordan before losing her once again.
Vanishing Point was a riveting suspense thriller that kept me guessing throughout! The urgency of solving the crimes leapt from the pages as did the curiosity of which direction Garrett and Jordan’s romance would (or would not) take after such a long time. Exciting read with a startling conclusion!
